A place for wholesome Bengali food. No-nonsense service. Prompt. Maintained well enough to not worry most people who are used to eating in India. Make sure you do not miss the side condiments which come with the food you order.

650inr for a single room was the cheapest i could find at the time, there was some going for 300inr but either for indians only or fully booked. Reception guy was uninterested to serve me however room was decent. Towel, a bar soap and towel provided fortunately.

This is a restaurant/lodge in the Police bazaar in Shillong. You can get simple Assamese and Bengali food here. Menu is small with no starters whatsoever. Prices are a bit on the expensive side.
