CRDA means Capital Region development authority. This has been establshed in the place of VGMT Development authority. After separation of Andhrapradesh and Telangana, AP government wants to construct a State Capital by named Amravati,near Vijayawada.So AP government has been decided to develop the Vijayawada and Guntur Districts areas which comes under Capital purview,for Andhrapradesh State Capital. On this way AP govt declared separate Authority for State Capital construction and land acquisition and established CAPITAL REGION DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.
