Beach never gets old. I visited this beach for more than 35 years now. Nicely maintained. Lots of street food along the beach road. Can play in the sand with small kids. Can wet your legs in the sea water.

The RK beach is a good hang out place in the evenings. More over thanks to Vizag city administration, no vehicles are allowed along the beach road from Park Hotel till Kalimatha Temple which makes it pollution free and wonderful for a healthy morning walk. The beach front is full of food joints and occasionally we can see events organized on the beach road. One such global event was the IFR or the International Fleet Review conducted in February 2016 which had representation from over 30 countries. INS Kurusura, a Pakistani submarine which was destroyed by the Indian navy is a special attraction on the beach road.
