Kalikund Parshvanath Teerth is located in the vicinity of Dholaka. The idol of the temple is white in colour and is very attractive. Emperor Dadhivahan had built the temple here. Kalikunda Parshvanath Teerth is situated at a distance of one km. from the station Dholaka. The ancient name of Dholka was Dhavalakapura and according to the stories this Dholka is the Viratanagara of the time of Mahabharata period. The main idol of this temple is Shri Kalikund Parshvanath Bhagwan which is white in colour. It is seated in a lotus posture and is approximately thirty-five cms in height. The idol is very simple and attractive. It is believed that this temple is more that five hundred years old. The idol looks very ancient but there is no inscription found even on the idol. Devotees revere Shri Kalikund Parshvanath as Prabhu. The architecture and construction of the temple is totally different and is in a class of its own. History of Kalikund Parshvanath Teerth Various references have been found of Kalikund Parshvanath in different places of India. According to history Lord Parshvanath meditated near the mountain named "Kali" and a tank named "Kund." Consequently Emperor Dadhivahan had built a temple which was named Kalikund. About 85 years back when the foundation was laid for different temple in the courtyard of this temple, 34 ancient idols were found from the earth. These idols are still kept in Lord Adhishvar temple. According to history Shri Adhishvar idol belongs to the time of Emperor Samprati. The other idols are much older. Many idols have also been found in the southern regions also. Countless idols have also been excavated from the Kerala. During the reign of Emperor Samprati idols were excavated from the southern side. It is also believed that the Emperor of Kaling Desh karkandu was the chief disciple and devotee of Lord Parshvanath Prabhu. Thus, it is possible that for this reason Parshvaprabhu had paid a visit this place also and delivered sermons and religious discourses. It is also said that Prabhu had also visited Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and many other places. Presently Kalikunda Parshvanath Teertha has many mountains, Kunds (Ponds) and elephants are found that can`t be seen anywhere else. The idols that have been excavated in the town on the banks of sea, on mount Malaiyagiri reveal the place might have been once inhabited by many Jains. It also states that the town might have been a big centre for trade. Apart from the Kalikund Parshvanath temple one more Swetambara temple exists that is dedicated to Lord Adhishvar
