One of the oldest beautiful building in Shimla. Architecture is very nice and a very peaceful place and building was completed around 1884 and took 4 years to complete. The place is very neat & clean and maintained.

Visited this place last year. It reminds us of history of India. There are various photo of past times before independence. Tourist are allowed to visit only ground flour . It could be a great tourists are allowed upstairs. It was a mesmerising visit to this place. There is also a beautiful garden outside this building

The Viceregal Palace is great. Interiors too. But the access to public is limited. Get a bus to Summer Hill from local bus stand.
