Mohit ChaudharyBurmese cuisine is relatively new to India. Apart from Khao Swey which seems to have found its way into wedding buffets in some places most Indians are unfamiliar with the cuisine of our eastern neighbour. Burma Burma is tastefully decorated, well spaced and has comfortable seating. The menu has a lot of choice and the waiters were well trained and knowledgeable. We had a trio of Burmese salads out of which I found the tea leaf version very very good. The buns followed. We had two flavors. Spicy sauces enhanced the flavor. Then came the Khao Swey. Very coconutty and a trifle heavy but delicious! Then the sticky rice with the tamarind chutney. Not my personal favorite but the dish was quite interesting in its flavours. We ended with a coconut jaggery based pudding and some Burmese paans. Very good food and service. A little on the high side but well worth it for the experience.
