Abhinandan SahuI AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE CENTRE AND FRAUDULENT INTENTIONS. I HAVE EVEN CONTACTED MY LAWYER AND I AM GOING TO TAKE UP THE MATTER LISTED BELOW VERY SERIOUSLY AS A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE SUFFERING ON THE HANDS OF CORPORTES LIKE FORD. I had given my car Ford iKon TDCi with registration number DL4CAF4966 at Jayashree Ford, Plot No 1 P, Medium Sector, Rit More, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand 832109 for attending a few problems that I was facing. I had a complain of jammed steering wheel, water clogging in the trunk, carpet wearing off on the back seats and regular servicing. I booked a 2 pm slot on 22.09.2016. My brother had taken my car to the service center and after checking the vehicle it was conveyed to me that: 1. The power steering pump was damaged and the same had to be replaced. 2. The carpet on the back sheet needs to be dry. 3. And a lot of small and insignificant things. I was told that the power steering pump was not available in the service center(Thank God for that) and I had to book the same paying an advance of Rs 5000 as the equipment cost was Rs25000, otherwise the same could not be ordered from Kolkata. I received my car on the same evening with a bill attached and an estimate of around Rs 50000 which included the power steering pump, shock arcs replacement and many other things. Let me tell you that I received the car unwashed and even dirtier than I had sent and I had been charged for the entire service and the service centre fellow told me that as it was 6 pm, they did not have time to wash the car and dry clean it. They even mentioned that their vacuum cleaner was not working for cleaning the inside of the car. I was shocked with this statement and with the estimate given to me. He also told me that cleaning the car was a FREE service which was included in the complete service charge. (Are you kidding me????? FREE?????? Then what am I paying the service charges for??????) I therefore went to a local mechanic and I wish to state that my power steering pump was completely ok and he topped my power steering fluid and cleaned the pump and the car steering is working fine now. And he charged a mere Rs1500 for the same which included the power steering fluid topup. He even cleaned the car and drycleaned it for another Rs100.
