Ramprasad NatarajanLots of nice cultural and literary programmes are held here; been visiting this place for more than 4 decades since early 1970s when my dearest Father was briefly working in the Vijaya Bank Branch located inside the BVB premises in the early 1970s … an old auditorium, possibly more than 30 years OLD, but has a nice vintage aura and nostalgic look and feel … audio/ sound acoustics in the auditorium are NOT SO MODERN as in other like-minded auditoriums like Ravindra Kalakshetra (slightly bigger) or Seva Sadan (smaller but good audio acoustics there) … Prasar Bharathi, All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan sponsored (and ALSO live telecast based) programmes are often held here … Medium sized Auditorium with capacity to seat atleast 250 easily ... OLD wooden NON-recliner low-base SEATS, few seats broken particularly in the middle, must be careful before sitting ... little difficult for old persons, elderly senior citizens, and fat/ obese persons to adjust into the seats, not so easy to sit and get up quickly and easily … Auditorium needs renovation, no sight of this happening for atleast another 5-6 years i presume for several reasons !!!
