syed guffarIt is now more than five years that I own a Chevrolet Beat but neither the vehicle nor the company gave me any chance to complain. However, KROPEX CHEVROLET MARATHAHALLI, did not just give me ample chances to complain but also compelled me write this PATHETIC REVIEW. Here is a brief date-by-date summary of what is going on at KROPEX CHEVROLET. March 7: the first day I took my Chevy for servicing at KROPEX CHEVROLET MARATHAHALLI. complaints: right side window sliding not functional. WITHOUT INTIMATING THEY CHANGED FOUR SPARK PLUGS (including other changes) AND BILLED ME INR 7937.00, while the SLIDING ISSUE REMAINED UNSLOVED due motor unavailability. March 19: 12 days after the vehicle returned from high-priced servicing it had starting issues. I had to visit KROPEX again. I intimated them about the engine stating issue. Also, requested them to fix the window sliding (reported earlier) and A/C issue (gas exhausted). They said that parts are not available and requested me to visit on Thursday or Friday. March 24: I visited them on March 24 (Friday) as suggested, to find a solution to all the issues. As I had office on March 24, I suggested taking delivery on March 25 giving them enough time to fix the issues. March 25: At 9.30 am I got a call from Kropex stating that parts were unavailable. At 4 pm, I received a message “car is ready”. I went at 6 pm and was shocked to see that all the parts of the car were falling apart. The A/C filter is open. Since they were closing up for the day they requested me to take delivery on March 27 (Monday). Now this was a great request for me to comply with as I have to hit office early on Monday for a client meeting. I insisted them to sort it out, upon which they asked for 20 minutes of my time and kept me waiting for nearly 45 minutes. At 7 pm the car was delivered to me with all the issues intact as earlier. This time the bill was INR 288.00 absolutely for doing nothing. Now comes in the most important part of KROPEX CHEVROLET SERVIVING. While at the service station (March 25) I noticed that the gear knob was broken. They put it on me saying that it was broken from before. The SITE SUPERVISOR WITH “GREAT PAIN” INTERVENED ON MY REQUEST AND CAME UP WITH A GREAT SOLUTION TO FIX THE GEAR KNOB: FEVIKWIK. I asked him to give me in black and white that the issue will be brought up to the floor in-charge to which agreed and said they will get back to me on this on March 27. WHILE DRIVING HOME a bunch of wires along with a small box was peeping out from the dashboard. During the March 26 argument, witnessing other state REGISTRATION NUMBER PLATE they questioned me if I am a localite with sense a PROVINCIALISM/LOCALISM in their voice. ON MARCH 27 KROPEX called saying that they have INFORMED THE GEAR KNOB ISSUE TO GENERAL MOTORS. GM SAID it IS A PRODUCTION ISSUE. This is a very trivial reason forwarded by GM as the vehicle is more than five years old.

Deven PandeyWent with my friend for his car servicing but those guys a service center tried to played smart and was trying to cheat my friend on billing and servicing. Good thing was he had a good knowledge about cars so he did not allow them to change everything on the car. They actually made a recommendation of 1 lacs for all changes to be done but he got things changed for mere 26 thousand and car is working great after that. Also worst part was the has wipers were working before servicing but stopped working after servicing and they blamed that due to other components it stopped working. That was a lame excuse for sure. So be careful and go with someone who knows about cars.
