They gave a good exchange rate (almost the same as the current market rate), but reduced one extra rupee for a 500 euro note. That is, I lost Rs. 500 because they would not use the same exchange rate for 500 euro note as they use for a 50 euro note. On asking why, they say that customers will not take 500 euro note!
