Urmi Mandalin continuation of the last buy; nine gems contacted me back and helped me to get a different stone this time by exchanging the ruby which i had bought before. The service was much better this time and it surely proves that they do really care about their customers. They also gave us a complimentary rose quartz statue as promised before. Finally satisfied. --------------------------------------- Not so sure. I went to this place with my friend to pick up a ruby stone. When the stone was selected it was clear but after a week when i went to receive the ring, it had 3 hair line scratches on the surface. On asking we were told that it is the inclusions reaching outside from inside and that ruby is a stone with hardness index of 9 and it cant get scratched. Although we dint argue much but really not convinced with that logic as if it were the case, then these marks should have been also on the day the stone was bought. I am pretty sure it will be a matter of tiff when I will get back to exchange my stone there maybe 5 years from now. On day 1 they also informed us that the purchase come with a small aventurine statue, however on the day of final purchase, staff there did not mention it at all. On our asking about it, he took our address informing it will be couriered. Which ofcourse we have not yet received. Summing up i had high hopes of customer service to which they really could not match up.

Rohit SHi, I have been searching for yellow sapphire and stopped by Nine Gems.. First of all I never had intentions to buy the gem in the market because I have experienced loophole especially in Avenue Road.. Coming to the point, the gemstone where I purchased in nine gems is in nagrathpet and almost Avenue road.. I stepped in and was skeptical, I asked several questions again n again to gain confidence, in return I got a wonderful customer service.. I ordered yellow sapphire and got the one.. The stone is lovely as per my observation and also got buy back guaranty which is really cool.. Buy back policy made me gain more confidence.. The only thing what I regret is I was told to get complimentary or the making charge will be reduced,.. When I asked for complimentary they refused after paying hefty amount... Felt bad at that point but am not a cheap bugger to beg after paying in lakhs.. But the words given were taken back.. No worries, I will observe the results and keep posted on the experience wearing yellow sapphire from nine gems.. Thanks for going through the post Regards Rohit S
