Designing an awesome home theatre in less than perfect conditions takes an absolute expert : AudioPlanet. We did not set aside a separate room for the home entertainment / theatre. It had to be in the living room where we will most probably hang out. That posed a lot of challenges. The area was assymetric ... with a French window on one side, dinning area on the other side ( assymetric depth on the two sides). There are no walls on the side where acoustic treatment could be carried out. We needed the back wall to be aesthetic to avoid messing up the interiors. Palani loved the challenge and delivered an incredible experience. I loved the first 3 sessions we had with him where he told us not to tell him how much money we are willing to spend or how much area we have. he spent time understanding what appealed to us as good music and good audio. He could have sold the more expensive equipment and gotten away. What he sold us was the audio signature that is in harmony with our listening preference. Its a 5.1.2 ... and 2 overhead (pretty slick) speakers above the dinning area in zone 2. Palani is in Bangalore where we - thank God - found him. But he had to execute the project in Hyderabad and he did that without absolutely any follow up or issues arising out of logistics. He travelled back 3 months after the initial installation for the final tuning and the impact is Prue magic. Really happy with what he provided for us. He helped pick the right pieces that were compatible and cost effective. More than all else, he is incredibly talented and has an integrity and commitment to high quality audio that is unmatched. He really understands the art and science of sound. He took ownership for the performance of the vendors such as the projection screen vendor. That made it all hassle free. Thank you very much Palani... we thin of you all the time.. a n rao, Hyderabad PS : if you are not an equipment expert and all you know is what great audio sounds like, you can be taken for a jolly ride by folks selling you the most equipment pieces they can sell you. You are safe in the hands of Palani.

On the quest to fulfil my dream of owning a home theatre i met a lot of people. And then i met Palani from audioplanet. Not only he is knowledgeable in his field he is equally patient enough to answer all your queries. He is the only guy who gives a one hour demo!! He never coaxes you to buy expensive brands but only the ones you like. Definitely worth for your money.

I travelled from Chennai to Bangalore to meet Mr. Palani after reading reviews over the web . One other main reason to meet him was that the focus he gave on UNDERSTANDING MY REQUIREMENTS. This meeting was to evaluate my upgrade options for my existing HT . The outcome of the meeting was such that, Palani had educated me in such a way that I can now CONFIDENTLY choose the right product for my upgrade requirements. He did all this with an unbiased approach towards a product. My time, effort spent travelling all the way to Bangalore was very well served.
