How did our Rottweiler with no health issues, end up with a wound infected with maggots at Ruff Dog Boarding? We have been a regular patron at Ruff Boarding and Spa for our dogs. We have used FB in the past to appreciate their work, hence feel obligated to also bring this to notice of fellow patrons of their services and their followers. We left our two dogs in their care for 19 days. Following are the reasons for our disappointment. 1. Our Rottweiler, Chico ended up with a wound, probably caused by a sharp object within the first few days at Ruff. 2. This went unnoticed by the staff at Ruff until he was visibly uncomfortable and scratching around the neck. (As stated by them) 3. On examination, they found a wound which had reached stage where there was now an onset of a maggot infestation. 4. They kindly took him to a vet, who treated the wound and put him on a course of antibiotics. 5. Inspite of us asking for regular updates about the wellbeing of our dogs, we were NOT informed of this situation, though they did tell us that our other dog, Olive was in heat. 6. We went to Ruff to collect Chico(unannounced) and were greeted by him covered in dirt and mud, including the area of the wound which is still fresh. Have been leaving Hatchi with them for 1.5 years. My Hatchi is always happy to go to Ruff. He loves the people there. Hatchi like humans more than dogs, the ppl in ruff are so warm and take such good care, he just walks in and does not take a second look. Leaving Hatchi with Syed and Lopa keeps me stress free. Plus he always comes back fit and active. Thanks everyone at Ruff

i have been leaving my pet Bruno , 5 years old male labrdaor with Syed for the last 2 years. This time Bruno started having skin infection during his stay. As a pet parent i panicked, but hats off to the team , the took him to the vet at HSR and by the time i returned after 2 weeks of travel, his skin got better already. They had handed over the prescibtion and also given the followup mdedication. I have been to other boarding places, but trust me after know RUff and the entire team, there is no looking back. It takes a lot of hard work to keep our pets happy and healthy during the stay. I have been with them for two years and Ruff will always be my " only choice". Highly recommended.

Ruff pet services is my regular go-to dog boarding whenever I need to board my pet beagle Ikraan. The place is great and my pet loves it there. We have even done a 20 days boarding and Ikraan was doing absolutely fine!! The staff is well-equipped with knowledge and dog handling technique. Lopa n Syed are very accomodating and they are genuine dog lovers. Its a home away from home for Ikraan and he always comes back home very sad because he would have loved to live at Ruff for longer time!! Best boarding so far for us!!

I chose to keep my dog here because the people who takes care of them are excellent,the Owner Mr Syed is very knowledgeable and approachable as well as his Fiance.I am sure my Ellie will be no way away from home :) Thank you Ruff Pet
