The place and service are good. Rooms are clean and well maintained. No amenities except cycling till the lake. The food is also good.

Excellent stay at Kabini Lake view resort.. Situated in a very apt location the views from the resort are very scenic. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Mr.Murthy helped to ensure our stay was memorable. Food is delicious and the service very polite. Will definitely come to this place again.

Close to nature with an excellent view and access to Kabani reservoir I have all +ves for this value for money place near Kabani reservoir. They have a big green campus overlooking the Kabani reservoir, cottages are scattered around the property and offers adequate privacy. It’s off the Mysore Manathavady road, Google maps should guide you there with no issues (there can be a small confusion at the last 100 mtr since the road google shows is too narrow with cattle taking most of the space) What impressed me were - Excellent view of the Kabani reservoir, you can access the reservoir bed easily from the resort. - 10 mts drive to the forest safari gate - Away from the crowd, tucked in a village – still near to Mysore Manathavady road - Very clean washrooms with all modern aminities, hot water round the clock - Tasty homely food. Not a big spread, but will not harm your tummy. They are open to customize based on your needs - Excellent staff who are mostly localities. Does everything with a smile. - Reasonably priced, they have whole day with food packages to just a bed for the night. There can be better deals available for the weekdays - CYCLES – Yes many resorts have them, but not seen these high-end geared cycles in a well maintained state. You can take them to the lake bed or ride through the village roads - They were unpacking new life jackets for the coracle ride when we were there, we didn’t attempt it since it was raining. - Reasonably well maintained - All cottages have a verandah where you can enjoy a tea listening to the birds. There are lot of birds in the campus. Take note that the Kabani reservoir has more birds than a Bird sanctuary I wished the cottages and verandah could have been little bigger since they had enough space in the campus, but that is not a negative and I will love to go here again. Strike a conversation with the owner if he is around, you will get some tips on what to do in and around
