KSRTC runs a/c Scania Thiruvananthapuram - Bengaluru service. The bus leaves Alappuzha at 6 pm and goes via Thrissur, Kozhikode, Mananthavady, Mysuru. Tirunelveli TN bus via Punalur 9.30 am Thiruvananthapuram SF 9.30 am Thrissur FP, Pathanamthitta FP 9.30 am Thoothukudy via Thenkasi : 1 pm, 8 pm The bus station has toilet block with clock room, chairs for sitting, ATM, bookstall, Coolbar and tea shop. No time table is displayed. The destination boards in buses have to be in English too.

All the facilities are available, but gets extremely murky and dirty during rainy season. If the politicians over there looked into the matter the bus stand along with the boating department can be turned into an extremely beautiful experience.
