This one turned out to be a surprise. The room was better than expected, the food was worse than expected After visiting Guruvayoor temple, we wanted to stay overnight, visit the Mamiyoor Shiva temple and then continue to our next destination. Booked this hotel considering that it was within our price range and very close to the Mamiyoor temple. It turned out that this place is quite new and the rooms are built more as service apartments! Our room turned out to be partitioned into a small kitchenette, a living area and a bedroom. What was good? - Small but usable bathroom - working A/C - towels and basic toiletries to complete the package. - within walk-able distance of the Shiva temple. - ample space in the vacant lot next door to park your car. What was not good? - Breakfast was complimentary and absolutely bad. (They were running short of Chutney, Dosas and the Tea / Coffee was luke warm. - The blankets seemed to have not been washed for a while and were smelling moldy. Verdict: OK for the budget. Acceptable room, unacceptable food.
