The matron is really rude. Treats others like dirt. Food is okay but hostel is costly comparatively. The matron is the worst person you will ever meet and its like she is waiting for you to ask something so that she can shout back.

Both matron and the mess person is rude. The place is very expensive and the facilities are very minimal. Food is also not that much great.

This hostel sucks... They just focus on drilling out money from our pockets for no reasons... They have a belief that their hostel is the best in kakkanad and they have built up that good name too... But once you stay there,you will realise this is waste of money.. they charge about 7000rs per head for a three share room and when we ask for HRA rent receipt they would give a bill of 2000 rs... but when we do a mess cut of one month, they deduct only 1250 rs..so wherez the balance amount ....electricyt? water(they have well) ? Girls...please dont promote ashiyana anymore...itz just a business for them... The matron at kakanad branch is too rude... and make us mentally down with harsh words...
