If you or your kids are fond of elephants, then this is the place for you. You will be able to find a number of elephants especially some naughty elephant calf. If you are fortunate, you can have close interactions also. If you reach there by 9.00AM, then you can witness elephant bathing also. Beside these, you will be greeted by the mother nature with some scenic views of greeny hills etc. A good place for photography, if you are interested. There is a pond there, used to bath elephants which may run out of water during Summer (April-May). Monday is holiday.

Watch Elephant bathing, aanayoottu and you can take a boat ride or a trekking of around 2km. You can explore the beauty of nature in a quiet atmosphere here. A great place to rejuvenate yourself.

Was a very nice place for a weekend outing..But after the water pumping scenario its a dry land....Gov. should take immediate action and restore this place

A must visit for elephant lovers.... I felt the animals here are kept under due care and supervision. A treat to watch them. Reach the place either by 9 in the morning or by 3 in the afternoon. Watch the special feast after the bath around 4 . Children would love the place... Plan for two hours stay at least.
