Suffice to say, not at all a regrettable decision because this wondrous nature awing cruise via the unspoiled and picture-postcard Poovar Village, a small coastal village so close at the southern tip of Trivandrum stretches your sight to some good tourist resorts. Moreover, for travelers like us, it was the moment in time of basically sitting back and marveling at the well preserved local plants alongside hundreds of species of spices, birds and exotic flowers, complimented by banana and coconut groves. True enough. Its nature remaining as a rare-natural paradise, a 20 minutes stopover was also included at Golden Sand Beach across the Arabian Sea where we transported ourselves to our childhood years by having all the fun under the sun. “Poovar Backwater Cruise” most probably will forever be cherished as a “heartwarming” memory.

Awesome boating experience through poovar backwater. We booked 2 hour ride. Greenery all around and you can watch various exotic birds. The beach is clean but the sea is rough. Booked online and got 50% discount Very good thanks

Experience the boat cruise in backwaters of poovar. There are several providers who offer boat service. Usually the package is for 1hr or 2hr. Family pack is a relaxed boat cruise which takes us to floating restaurant, beach, elephant rock and bit more. Check the price with more than one providers and bargain.
