The main venue for the annual festival of Thrissur pooram.The temple offers a calm , peaceful and a spiritual atmosphere even though it is strategically located at the centre of the city. The years old temple is preserved in the very natural form and is maintained well.Due to the same the temple received award from UNESCO .

    It is one of the oldest temples in India. It is in heart of Thrissur. And we will get the real devoted experience. And you should follow the correct order of praying. It is full of medicinal plants and it is good to walk in morning inside to refresh. It has large compound.

    Beautifull..serene temple in the centre of the city. Temple opens from early morning till 11am and 4pm to late evening. But there are specific darshan timings which you should check before you go. Kuds below 1 year is not allowed inside the sanctum. Dress code mandatory.
