Giftson ImmanuelThe Methodist Tamil Church, Borivali is a congregation growing in faith and unity, committed in sharing the gospel and inspirational in serving humanity for more than 50 years in Mumbai just as Jesus said to his disciples in Mark 16: 15 "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation". We have been a community where people experience the love of Christ and radiate this love to those around. As a spiritual mother, we have planted, developed and nurtured many congregations. We actively support ministries and also have raised many individuals who serve as pastors and missionaries. We have four major fellowships, divided in a style to cater to each and everyone’s need for spiritual growth and strong relationship. Methodist Tamil Church believes in nurturing Christian values into a child right from kindergarten. “Sunday School” is a platform for children up to twelfth grade for basic spiritual learning. Separate sessions for different grades are conducted every Sunday after the service. The Youths of our Church gather at the parsonage after the Sunday service. They have a wonderfully laid out yearly activities. Some of them which fall under the list are annual youth Sunday, youth picnic, youth camps etc. The youths not only work at the local or district level but also have opportunities to work at the national and even international level through BRC MYF (Bombay Regional Conference Methodist Youth Fellowship). The Methodist Men and WSCS are two fellowships that work respectively for the men and women in our congregation. Through activities like family picnic, Methodist Men Sunday, WSCS Sunday etc. they work collectively to minister God’s word. Both these fellowship also work at the district level. All these four fellowships act as four pillars of our church. Each fellowship is mutually dependent and works together for the veneration of Christ. We at Methodist Tamil Church have many volunteer opportunities for those who want to teach, visit the sick, help missions and provide help around the church. We have a place for YOU if you are keen in serving the Lord!
