The best way to go to Alibag. You reach very quickly by the sea route. Closed in rainy season.

Fun journey to elephanta island is a must the ferry takes roughly 1 hour but views make this go quick.

Nice ferries with open deck option also available....You can take up snacks also . It provides 40 minutes ferry drive,also some ferries provide the to and fro services to elephanta caves
