Stories of arrests of tourists inspite of correct documents..Swagatam Travels, Mumbai misguided us regarding our transit visa and we were almost arrested at Bangkok airport in Dec.2016. Instead of an apology Swagatam Travels accused us of blackmail. Such agencies create huge problems for innocent tourists. Proper scrutiny needed of such agencies by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Pratibha KadriOur experience with Swagatam has been bad. We were stranded in one of the international airports without a transit VISA . Since our connecting flights were booked in different airlines, We had a harrowing experience at the airport and managed to just make it to the flight in time..Even with this agent, basically we were on our own. We were also mislead that a transit VISA would not be needed despite the fact that they booked us on two airlines that were totally unrelated in their operations.
