This review is solely based on my personal experience regarding the whole interview process. From the start, Cactus has been very professional, courteous, prompt and communicative. At all times, the recruitment specialist was respectful, patient and communication was clear. The interviews set up were not imposed in any way. They will consult the interviewer & the interviewee for their availability and convenience and then set up an appointment/meeting. In case of unforeseen circumstances that make rescheduling inevitable, the process is handled smoothly & rescheduled as per the convenience of both parties. All your queries are answered in as clear a way as possible. The whole interview process was handled with professional competence. It was a great experience.

Pros: Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. Cons: I am contracting as a part-time editor. To date, although I set my availability as weekdays only, they have assigned two projects to me over weekends. They have commented that, although I followed all given directions and added comments, they were unable to tell where I had edited (in spite of all edited paragraphs being highlighted in grey) and for this accused me of being "rude". Their own ability to write in english is marginal at best. Most directions and communication comes in fragmented english, like "(edit) Only ray colored sentenence in three file"... and you are left to interpret. Recommendations: Know what you are getting into and either accept unprofessional and demeaning standards for what could be a stimulating time-filler, or search for another job. Note to CACTUS: Nikhil Pinto is the worst. Never responds in a timely manner to e-mails and is curt and unprofessional.
