Arvind KelkarIt is now more than 3 years since I started using my hearing aids. It has been a period of learning and ultimately enjoying the wonderful experience of participating in the everyday aural world that I was missing all these years. In this journey Nilesh Dandekar played a very important part in giving the right guidance to properly use and evaluate the performance of my hearing aid. We have to learn to understand how the hearing aid is working to meet our needs and communicate the deficiencies we perceive in the correct manner to him. Only then can he make the appropriate adjustments so that our experience becomes enjoyable. This is like an old style doctor patient relationship where both work together to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome. I have talked to many of my friends who have had a not so satisfactory experience of using hearing aids. In all cases their interaction with their hearing aid professional was very limited. Many had abandoned the use of hearing aids missing out on the very useful life changing experience it provides. All in all, with my experience I can say with confidence that those who are hard of hearing should make all efforts to get a suitable hearing aid and then pursue its use by regular follow-up and consultation with the provider. Your contribution to these consultations plays a very important part. I have learnt this from my interactions with Nilesh Dandekar over the last three years. Satyajeet DodiaWe were visiting Pune from out of town. We thought my mothers hearing aids were not working, or needed to be programmed. We went to see Nilesh directly without any referrals. Upon inspection of the hearing aids he immediately noticed they were simply blocked with dust. He cleaned them and they started working as new! He could have charged us any amount but he simply said no charge. He also patiently answered my mothers questions about the aids. I am both grateful and impressed with his professionalism and service. Highly recommend him.
