Ashish AmruteThis place is in complete mess. No adequate facilities provided to sportsmen. The place is more used like a dumping ground for discarded vehicles by Municipality. The approach road to the stadium is far too narrow, and no reasonable accomodation facilities in nearby areas makes it least preferred choice as a venue, not just for international games but even for national or state level games. In short, what was initiated as a ambitious project to bring international level players to this city, now remains a model example of what should NOT be done!

SRINIVAS PoojariHave very GOOD facilities. Maintenance neglected by Corporation. Zero maintenance during Monsoon. Ground available for practice only for 7M Closes on June 1st week & opens in October as per convenience. Maintenance n availability should be for 300 Days

Shine RajA full sized stadium owned by TMC. Most of the sports and cultural events held in Thane city are hosted here. Award shows and Television reality show finals are also held here. This place can hold upto 50,000 people. Some schools do rent this place for their annual sports day. This place gives training for athletes and also conducts private coaching of badminton, tennis, cricket, football, boxing etc... There is a Gym and Sports store inside this place. This place has huge potential if TMC manages to dedicate some time towards it development.
