Ashok ThakurIts a good place to visit along with children during any season. Whole path is covered with big trees and one can get sufficient varieties of animals. It has a good number of tigers along with hippopotamus, ostrich, peacock (White and colorful), monkeys etc. On foot it took complete two hours to take a round. It is preferred to get the facility of ferry if you are along with children. On the way one restaurant is also available with soft drinks and snacks! One must visit this place if you are in Chandigarh.

Ravi RanjanIts perfect place to hang out with your young kids. This place is very well maintained with lot of wild animals. Staff here is very hardworking and doing there job properly. You can have an option of ferry inside the zoo in addition to lion and deer safari. Just avoid this place during hot summer afternoons. Animals are also hiding in there caves to save themselves from heat.

Sowmyashree mayur kakuAwesome zoo. Have to walk for a long time but worth the visit. If going with kids take the ferry. Carry food and water due to minimal crowded options. Go early to enjoy everything from parking to visiting animals... Parking problem at its worst! Mismanaged entry and exit. People allowed to park on the road causing havoc!

Amit Kumar KaundalWell managed place. Rs. 50 entry fee, Rs. 50 cart fee, Rs. 50 Lion safari. Food quality not at par, packed items can be an option. 04 lions are inside safari. Leopard, Jaguar, Elephants, Hippo, Tiger, Reptile section, birds area, zebra are other options. Lot of peacocks inside zoo.

Lokesh VijA treat for kids, Zoo is very neat and tidy & well maintained. There are 13 different stations housing variety of Animals and Birds. Zoo has now introduced electric, on a small payment, you can commute between different stations. Another exciting thing is Jungle Safari, though the ride just lasts for 5mins, but it is worth spending money to check out Lions closely.
