A great place where you get to know interesting people. I loved that they had a bookshelf with books you could borrow and that you could buy a cheap meal in the ashram if you wanted to. Tricky location for rickshaw drivers, but great budget friendly place to stay.

This is a nice place for the independant budget traveller, the rooms are cheap and ensuite, fairly well furnished and the bathrooms are adequate. The rooms are secure and fairly large. There is wifi availible. There is a restaurant in house where you can get meals which normally are rice with curry at a good price. The real gem of this place is the people, if you want to meet locals this is a great place to meet people and chat in the food area. There is a cool filtered water system so that you can get clean water by refilling your bottle. The ashram is located in a very very nice area, full of lovely locals. The point is there is a great vibe here. this is the place to come if you want to understand something more about india. Staying here was the highlight of my trip, so i stayed for a long time. This is less of an ashram as there are no real activities scheduled but it is a great community atmosphere. I would definately stay again when back in the area.
