Arivarasu SinnarasuI have been servicing my car here for 3 years now. Very famous service center in Pondy. Employees are polite and friendly. However the attitude of the manager is not good. They do charge you service tax for card payments...SERIOUSLY??? I was asked to pay the service tax for a bill payment of 13000 +, but I refused to pay. In fact I had never paid service tax previously. After I said I never paid in 3 years, I was asked to talk to the manager(yeah the same rude guy) if he agrees the cashier would not be charging me the service tax. I told him the same story but he did not trust me. He asked his employees to check the mode of payment for my previous services and if I had not paid the Service tax then he will not charge me now. Finally I won!!!! I did not pay them the Service tax. Worst part of it was they are not supposed to charge service tax to the customers and they dont agree to it. They say we are charging only less, as if they are doing us a favour ... Common a grocery shop or medical shop they dont charge service tax... Why are you????
