Braydon JohnThe overall layout and design of the Gap Year Expedition program is good to be a responsible tourist in India, I had a great time. I joined their 6 week Gap Year India Expedition and get opportunity to work with street kids for 4 weeks. This experience definantly ranks as one of my all time greatest. The kids have touched my heart in such an incredible way. Pranay & Amita (Organizers) are compassionate, caring people who have inspired me to live my life in a way completely dedicated to the kids. I am so impressed by this project. I have learned so much that I know I will never forget. It was an honor to be a Sankalp Volunteer !! The two weeks of travel has been one of the best ever as this has been an experience of a lifetime. Thanks to Sankalp team, for all that you do for the kids here and for us !

A Google UserSankalp volunteer organization is a great organization that is doing amazing work for the community. I would definitely recommend the organization to people who are looking to volunteer in India. The organization has great programs and is doing some amazing work. The street children program is amazing, the children are amazing and they are bright and happy and have so much potential. It is incredible that the organization is helping to give the children some opportunities for their future. I wish I was there for longer than 5 weeks working at the street children program as the children’s progress was great even in a short period of time. The summer program also incorporated travel that allowed me to see some of the beautiful places in India, including the Himalayas. I definitely recommend this volunteer program to everyone and suggest that you give them as much time as you can because you’ll truly be making a difference in the lives of some children and gaining an experience that you will never forget.
