Well after such beautiful experience in Sikkim, i experienced the worst here. For sharing cars for Siliguri or some other places one has to buy tickets from the booking office. Upto that there was no prob.. but after waiting for very long i decided to go by my own and there lies the rub. An arrogant staff claiming as the manager of the syndicate misbehaved showed their actual face and declining to return my fare. So be careful, bargain well before your journey..

All hired cars from NJP railway station & from siliguri bus stand will take you to this taxi stand at Gangtok. From here u have to hire a local taxi to ur hotel at Gangtok. But if your hired car have Sikkim permit then u can reach hotel directly. Very congested place & lots of middle man are there.
