Ahamed AmirudinI entered the campus in 1967 as non-practising Muslim but left it in 1971 as committed Muslim. The best teachers I had was from this college. Great campus, great mosque, great teachers. Will never forget it even though later I got my M.Sc from Madras Christian, M.Tech from IIT and PhD from Sweden. New College Lecturers were the best = Mr V Gopalan (Chemistry), Mr Ananthakrisnan and Mr Ramamoorthy (both English) were the best teachers I had in my entire life.
