I was given an appointment by the Consulate which I accepted given that it suited my date. However after all formalities, I was told to reapply from Bangalore because they can accept applications only from the Chennai jurisdiction. It wasted my time and money. When asked why an appointment was given in the first place, I was not given an answer.

The service provided by the consulate was on point, with genial assistance and neatly structured processing flow. However I would like to bring to your attention that there are no chairs or benches outside the consulate, this is a real hassle especially if the guardians accompanying the visa applicant are old people/senior citizens and they are left standing outside for hours. I would like to request the visa consulate to add a few chairs or benches outside the consulate to show that they care not just for their applicant but also for their family. :)
