Prime location, good hospitality.. I have to check in early and checkout late and they agreed with out any hassle.. food in paprika was very nice, lot of varities in live counter for breakfast.. over all good experience but hotel is not clearly visible from the road due to metro construction work

Courtyard Marriott Chennai is a very nice hotel in the heart of the city. Very attentive service, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms & excellent housekeeping; everyone in the hotel applies their best efforts to please the guests. It was superb! Definitely recommended for an enjoyable stay. I was thanked with some chocolates on my checkout; this was a surprise, thanks to the staff.

Excellent service. All the staff were cheerful and seemed happy. Food is on the expensive side, but that is expected in such a class of hotels. Rooms were spotless clean. I stayed using my rewards points, and it was a good experience.

Stayed July 14 & 15 with my relatves using my points. Right now this location is difficult to access due to on-going metro construction specifcally if you are coming from gemini flyover side. So I always accessed from other side to get into the hotel. Stay was pleasent, rooms are clean and neat, hotel staffs from front desk to room serivce are well behaved and polite.Breakfast buffet have extensive choices and also food taste is good. Room service and other services are quick. The Bar is closed due to on-going supreme court rule so buy outside and drink safely in the room and get all other add ons via room service. Overall good experience. Will stay next time when i go to India.

I have booked a room in the hotel for my wife and my father in-law for an interview on 6th August and 7th August 2017. The check in time is 3 PM and checkout was 12 pm next day, but they were arriving early morning at 6 and checking out next day by evening, as every hotel does there was a early check in charges and late check out charges. So i first talk with a front desk they told the charges are 6000 for early check in and 3000 for late check out. When i check the marriot website the full day rate for sunday was rs 3150 and for monday it was rs 4240 , so i again called the front desk where i talk to one Mr Mahen where he told me that because the breakfast charge was included the price was like this, then removing teh breakfast charges he told the early check in is 3500 and late check out is also 3500 including taxes. Altogether it was 7200 for early and late check in including taxes. Now when my wife arrived they charged an advance of 8000rs and while they were checking out they gain said the taxes is 3000rs extra. So total they took 11000rs for early and late check in. I am so frustrated with the service of the hotel which there in all over the world. SO guys please never ever book your rooms in marriot chennai, Better book in hyatt or other five star hotels. I have 2 stars because of the rooms, it is nice and comfortable ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So this is another review with continuation with the above review. The marriot has refunded the extra amount which i mentioned above, for that i have added another star but still the overall experience was not enjoyabale. I myself is not a big cynic, but there were lots of confusion in the communication among the staffs, which made the whole experience unpleasant. I hope they will do a better job in the future and i too hope no one will face what we faced.
