This temple is famous for god Kalbairavar.... almost 1000 years old.... auspicious day is on theipirai ashtami.... during that day they do yaga.... lot of tourists visit this place....

Despite the lot of push and pull in the crowd of 5000 people on an auspicious day of theiberai ashtami(weining moon) day standing in the queue for 3 hours, Once we enter the santum Santorum, we got relieved of all the hustle of the outside and suddenly we felt positive vibration and energy. It is a 2000 year old temple with a wonderful roof depeiting all the planet position as in navagraha which may have a role in relieving all dhoshams. We could hear a lot of stories about the miracles like in education,job and profession problems, marriage obstacles, etc. Long Adhiyaman who built this temple was said to get his sword blessed by Lord Bhairavar at this temple before war to earn victory. A lot of people from other states esp Karnataka and Andhra could be seen visiting here. Overall it was a divine experience.
