The moolavar (deity) lord Sri Ranganatha Swamy is 18.5 feet long, longer than that at Sri Rangam. The temple was built 1000 years back by Chalukya Kings. A peaceful temple to meditate amidst the chirping of birds and green trees. It is said that people who light ghee lamps to lord Ranganatha continuously for 7 Fridays, will be blessed with a good life partner, children and prosperous businesses.
