This is the best place to start your journey of Auroville. It gives a glimpse of the life in Auroville. It is also the beginning point for a visit to the Matrimandir. But a map of Auroville and start exploring. The people are very helpful and the environment is very lively. There are some good canteens, and outlets (boutiques) for sale of locally made products like paper items, soaps, perfumeries, books and many others, although the things are not cheap at these outlets.

Pleasing and cool place. It is nice to visit such unique place, includes temple, lake, sport complex, museum, garden, hotels. Place is combo of very nice things.
