The view, the hospitality, the experience was one of the best in recent years. Did those who truly seek a vacation, and not just corporate experience, this is the place for you.

This is an old British time building .probably a club house of the British Indian Army officers.Restored now for use as a commercial hotel by the current owners.A spacious property with large rooms and a wonderful view of the picturesque Himalayan ranges. The service is prompt. We had our meals in the lawn in front of the building just like the guests may have had in British Raj times. The management and staff are courteous and ever willing to listen to the guests, which is a rare quality in hotels nowadays.

Hotel Himalaya Castle is a unique place to stay in Mussoorie. It is more of a heritage home than a hotel. The serene and beautiful environment is ideal for families and has something to offer to people of different ages and tastes. If you are a shopaholic, the Mall Road is just a few minutes’ walk down the road; if you are the adventurous type, you can trek to the nearby Landour which has the old world charm and is a favourite hub of celebrities far from the madding crowd. If you are the lethargic or philosophical type, you can sit back in one of the antique chairs in the open lobby outside your room overlooking the valley or in the expansive lawns and relax under a tree or in the sun and enjoy the bounties of nature around you. You can watch both the sun-rise and the sun-set from the terrace or even the corridor of the hotel which also offers panoramic views of the valley. The breakfast on the lawns is no less than a picnic. To add to these is the soft-spoken host Pranav who will take personal care to make your stay comfortable. The food is good, the service prompt and the rooms large and well-firnished. I stayed there with my family from 22nd to 25th May, 2017 in deluxe suite. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a history. The photos on the walls say stories. Pranav, the owner, is a kind and good man. He spoke very good English and helped us reaching the hotel smoothly. Rooms are very big, clean and spacious with all the facilities like TV, Geyser and so. Mall road is very near and walkable. The view from the hotel in the morning was just awesome. Food and room services were good but can be improved as well. Overall, it was great stay at an affordable price.
