Students enroll here to learn Sanskrit and jyotish-shashtra ( Like that in Varanasi and Puri Sanskrit institutions) . It is a full time and long duration course. Infrastructure is quite old and very minimal. Students may be seen fetching water from hand-pumps for a bath. The surroundings are peaceful and quite. Greenery prevails in and around. No Big markets or shops. Tikarmafi market is accessible on foot, else one can go to Amethi or Sultanpur.
