Begumpur Mosque/Masjid is located near Vijay Mandal Enclave/Geetanjali which was built during Md Tughlaq era in 14th Century. It is said to be one of the biggest mosques of India which is now in ruins and dilapidated condition. No maintenance. Because of historical importance, if popularize, it can attract tourists. As it seems, it is left to locals who used to play cards, cricket and has become a good place to drink. Beware, do not go either with family or after sunset. One must also visit nearby beautiful garden and another mosque at Khirki Village opposite Select City Walk. Take care, place may not be safe.
