I was lucky enough to teach English at the school as a VSO volunteer from 1968 until 1969. It was a wonderful experience for me and I met some great people including Principal B K Das. At that time my home was Liverpool in England but now I live in North Germany. All the best to the school and best wishes to the staff and pupils!

1978-1993 was spent at U P Sainik School Lucknow. In a nutshell I shall describe these 6 years - the best years in life. I have my best friends from those years and the friendship has been timeless. The knowledge about LIVING that I got in these six years, still give me enough strength and wisdom to face any challenge of life with a smile. I am so darn proud and happy that 6 years of my life were spent in this wonderful institutions. My gratitude to all teachers, all administrators, all staff, our cooks, guards and everyone.
