SBSTC bus stand for Durgapur, Asansol, Medinipur, Bolpur, Suri route. The staffs at booking counter are very helpful. Located at Girjar More, Berhampore - a popular and well known place of the town on NH34. NBSTC buses also runs from here, the NBSTC bus stand is located just opposite side of the road. Please see the pictures posted for SBSTC and NBSTC bus time table. The place is well connected to other part of the town, as well as the whole district of Murshidabad. Private buses also run on this road and stops at this place (Girjar More). If you want to visit Hazarduari, the historical place, you have to change bus and take battery car (tuk-tuk) / auto to Lalbagh from here. There is a small hotel for lunch ( rice, vegetable, fish, chicken, mutton) adjacent to the SBSTC booking counter. Though, look wise not very attractive, the food are hygienic and tasty. Scopes for improvements : i) Waiting place / sitting chairs for passengers, and ii) Toilet facility should be there.
