Christiana BasuPlace is good no doubt... authentic. But waiters are very disturbing, constantly forcing to order more and reprimanded to pay the bill asap . Food quality, alcohol availability, sitting arrangements are good. A nice place for spending time with friends in pocket friendly budget. But as mentioned waiters are nagging as hell. One more tip:be aware of them as they will come one after another for tips. In my case we were 4people together, they came thrice to charge tips. So give once and instruct them to distribute in all otherwise give in small amount one by one. Customers use to go there are usually regular, so if you are new then be in our own risk.

suman duttaOne of the very old restaurants running in Kolkata till now. The place is small, a bit congested & shabby , nothing much to comment about ambience & decor. They still have those cabin system running. The only reason to recommend it is because of the food they offer. Food quality is really good as well as very reasonably priced. Also the drinks are cheap too. This place is ideal for college crowd office hangout.
