Rajdeep PaulQuite an exciting place. Heaven for antique lovers. Entry fee for indians is Rs 20. For foreigners its Rs 500. Quite drastic. Anyway. The place is big enough. Its well maintained and clean. There are different sections. The section for aquatic life is a must see. One section remained closed. I have heard it to be remained closed for a long time. Kids will find the place exciting. Especially the section where a real mummy is lying peacefully in display. Hope you guys will have a jolly time with you family, full of excitement.

Smith MitraBeing a history lover, I keep visiting the Museums. This is one of the best maintained museums in India. This is located near to India Gate and nearest Metro is Central Secretariat. One can reach here auto and buses. (please check the transport details). Tickets price is not high and that includes the still photography too. Though, they do not allow tripods. One can get assistance by digital guide or with limited options, volunteers too. There is sales counter on ground floor for replicas and printed materials. These are good choice for souvenir or artifact collections. Price is reasonable. The museum is spread in three floors and are arranged in a systematic way. Sculptors, paintings, artifacts from all ages can be seen in their respective galleries. I would recommend to carry a gallery map (can be collected at entrance hall) that will help to visit the desired gallery. There is a library adjacent to the entrance hall. I hope researches and scholars can find a great help with materials. I do not have much details on accessing/using the library. If you are a history lover and want to know more about the past of India-prehistoric, historic or culture, must visit this place once.

GEETASREE KUNDUAmazing place. It will take whole day. But truly a fantastic place for everyone of age 8 to 80. Few benches are available for resting. So, sometimes one will be too tired to walk. Visit once & take your children too. They will enjoy it :)

Aritra ChatterjeeIts really a nice museum. But I could see some lack of maintenance as many statues were unmarked. Otherwise it is very good and has a huge collection of artifacts and historical items. Good place to visit

Arkapravo GhoshA great place to hangout. You will love this place.... The open space in the centre looks great. Though the are not many things to see, the Egypt section is the best here.
