KALYAN RAUTThis is a 5 star plus property and certainly a great place to stay. The old heritage Hotel has been carefully restored by the Lalit Group, a big thanks to them for those lovely restoration and it is a treat to be staying there. Location is also very good and at the centre of the city. The rooms are ultra modern and eye soothing with complimentary breakfast and the staff are caring, polite and friendly. The lobby area is large and beautiful. Spa, business centre, bar everything have been restored with much love and care. Restaurant is very very good with several varieties. Pool is small but cosy one. All credit goes to the Lalit group. Strongly recommend for family stay.

Kinjalak SinghGood hotel at a very good location. Well appointed rooms but some of the front desk staff need some serious training. I was checked in at midnight and asked for a late checkout the following day. 12.30 was the time given to me by the receptionist although the policy is for 1300. Later it was amended. Next day wen i came back after work i was reminded twice by 2 other front desk staff(not dealing with me) in spite of me assuring them that I would not delay the checkout beyond 1300. Never expected such an unprofessional behavior.

Ahmed JubayarThis hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Right from the beginning every staff member was really helpfull and courteous. All the receptionist was really smart, and attentive. Check in was really quick. Room was specious, clean with nice street view. swimming pool was added bonus. They also provided us with complimentary seasonal fruit which was great as well. I would recommend this to everyone. Most importantly price was really attractive for this kind of hotel.

TANUJ DOGRAI loved the new decor, service and their bakery section. I tried their red velvet cake,a sandwich called madame monsieur, ceasear salad and cheese cake. The croissants we tried were fresh and buttery and cheesy which I bet u cant just have one!!

Gautam BanerjeeElegance is the only word required to describe the hotel. The facade of the old hotel remains. Inside has been changed extensively to make it a modern 5 star hotel. Centrally located, fantastic service and the old world charm remains. Mark Twain and other historical personalities who have stayed here in the previous centuries would be delighted to return again.

Somapriya DasGood Hotel.. Good decorating inside the Hotel.. Good communication.. Near Esplanade besides Great Eastern (Dalhosi) .. Very nice food and drinks and also very good behavior of everybody .. I mean good service..
