It takes you back into the British Era. Reminds you of the importance the city of Calcutta enjoyed back then. Quite well maintained by the authorities. The tickets cost just 20 rupees for this trip back in history. Must visit. Preferably late afternoon to avoid the heat. Avoid Monday as the Museum is closed and you cannot get inside the memorial. The park is however open on the outside.

A very very good place to visit. Nice place to hang out with friends and loved ones. One can spend their time peacefully. There are many seats to take rest.. There are lakes which adds to its beauty. It makes more beautiiful when the reflection of Victoria Memorial is seen on the Lake

A beautiful place to absorb fresh oxygen. The trees and lakes make you happy every time. The huge marble building attracts your attention completely. The Museum inside this building is very impressive and full of antique things . You must visit this Museum . But avoid afternoon to visit this park inside Victoria if you are with your family.
