It is one of the busiest station. Well managed but platform level are too low. Need to more clean and modernization.

I had a bitter experience there.There is no electronic clock at the platforms.I went there a few months ago.My mobile phone was at the service center and unfortunately my wrist watch was also not working at that time.I thought that I will check the station time.But when I reached the station then I found that there is no clock at the station!!

This is not an important station as one can get down at Birati or New Barrackpore. None of the galloping trains will stop
