As an alumnus of this college, I feel the department of Linguistics is (wo)manned by some teachers who are not at all fit for teaching at honours level. I do not know whether it is under the College now or it is a University Department. If it is a University department, then the presence of a newly-recruited teacher is a shame. But this is going on everywhere. Who cares for what?
