Its a nature lover retreat. Its easily approachable very near to locality but at the same time full of biodiversity. Different types of trees shrubs and creepers along with variety of birds and insects will definitely make your visit worthy. A nature photogrphers paradise.

I love this place because this place is very clam and quit (rather than sunday). This place offers very good opportunity to photograph birds. It also a very good place for macro photography.

This is one place where you can find the essence of forestry within Kolkata. Total 53 bigha land covered by guard wall. Inside of this sanctuary you will find mainly several kinds of mango tree including hapus mango tree. This is one public property acquired by forest department. There is some entry fee in around Rs. 60 per head. Moreover the place is so quite and peaceful. But in summer and rainy season proper covered shoe is recommended for snake and other insects. People do wildlife photography here.

Well kept bird sanctuary. Photographers paradise. Best season is winters. However, with rapidly upcoming housing projects, bird numbers have declined.

Very bad place. Not even worth one visit. Hundreds of mosquitos will surround you as soon as you enter. Rs 50/- is the entry charge. Dont visit this place. Never!
