Saswati ChakrabortyThis is one place where you can find the essence of forestry within Kolkata. Total 53 bigha land covered by guard wall. Inside of this sanctuary you will find mainly several kinds of mango tree including hapus mango tree. This is one public property acquired by forest department. There is some entry fee in around Rs. 60 per head. Moreover the place is so quite and peaceful. But in summer and rainy season proper covered shoe is recommended for snake and other insects. People do wildlife photography here.
