AMIT SMThe place is good for bird watching in the early hours of the morning. There is a hefty entrance fee of Rs. 50 which is a tad unjustified as the place is not maintained properly with minimum sign posts and almost no security

rajdeep guhaWell kept bird sanctuary. Photographers paradise. Best season is winters. However, with rapidly upcoming housing projects, bird numbers have declined.

Saswati ChakrabortyThis is one place where you can find the essence of forestry within Kolkata. Total 53 bigha land covered by guard wall. Inside of this sanctuary you will find mainly several kinds of mango tree including hapus mango tree. This is one public property acquired by forest department. There is some entry fee in around Rs. 60 per head. Moreover the place is so quite and peaceful. But in summer and rainy season proper covered shoe is recommended for snake and other insects. People do wildlife photography here.
